On Thursday, the 9th of February, the whole school enjoyed a visit from Anna Graham of the charitable organisation, Manx Birdlife. Anna spent the entire day with us, visiting each class, and talking to the children about all things bird, such as habitat, migration, and the RSPB School's Birdwatch. Teachers and students alike thoroughly enjoyed the visit, and absorbed a wealth of knowledge from Anna. We will all think carefully from now on about saying we are 'tired', and will reflect upon those migrating Swifts and Terns who 'sleep on the wing!' Thank you to Anna for a wonderful day, and also to Mrs Guest for organising the visit.
