Foxdale School's First Community Day a Huge Success!
Foxdale School was buzzing with excitement as families came together to enjoy our very first Community Day – and what a fantastic afternoon it was!
There was something for everyone to enjoy. Children bounced with delight on the bouncy castle, climbed aboard the tractor and trailer for rides around the school grounds, cooled off with delicious ice creams, and enjoyed magical story time in our beautiful Mudlands outdoor learning area.
One of the biggest highlights of the day was the visit from the local Fire and Rescue Service. The children were absolutely thrilled to explore the fire engine, meet the firefighters and learn more about the important work they do in our community.
The afternoon was filled with laughter, smiling faces and a wonderful sense of togetherness as children, parents, staff and members of the wider community enjoyed spending time together. It was a fantastic celebration of community spirit and a reminder of just how special Foxdale School is.
A huge thank you goes to everyone who helped make the day such a success. In particular, we'd like to thank Gary and Kieran from the Fire and Rescue Service for giving up their time to bring the fire engine along, and Thea's dad, Paul, for providing the hugely popular tractor and trailer rides. A special thank you also goes to everyone who helped keep the tea and coffee stand running throughout the afternoon, and to Sam, whose seemingly endless face painting brought smiles to children of all ages! We'd also like to thank everyone who helped organise and support the day's activities. Your generosity, time and enthusiasm created an event that our children and families will remember for years to come.
