This marvellous morning saw 2 Visiting Marshals, Stan and Ruth, attend KS2 for a glorious Giveaway! Stan has accumulated so much memorabilia over his Marshalling years, that, by his own admission, he has much more than he knows what to do with. This thoughtful gentleman came up with the idea of taking it into schools to be raffled (for free) to the excited children! Our KS2 children were utterly thrilled to participate in the raffle, delighting in the mugs, drinks bottles, t-shirts, snoods, beanies and bags they received, as you will see in the pics below! ...
A huge and heartfelt thank you to Stan and Ruth for their generosity and kindness! Of course, 'kindness' is one of our School Values, and it was heartwarming to see it modelled for the children today.
