Celebrating 140 Years of the Foxdale Railway
This week we celebrated 140 years since the Foxdale Railway line was officially opened.
The children (and staff!) enjoyed dressing up in Victorian clothes and spent the day learning about Victorian life and the history of the railway. We also had visits to the Foxdale Heritage Centre, which gave the children the opportunity to explore more of our local history.
The day finished with a fantastic sing-along with Mr Lambie — a great way to end the celebrations!
Thank you to everyone who helped make the day possible. It was a brilliant opportunity for the children to learn more about the history right on our doorstep.
