Books are magical, beautiful things that we treasure and love at Foxdale School, and we are delighted to share with you that in today's Celebration Assembly the School Council handed over a cheque to the Family Library for the huge amount of £1,021.50! Graeme Jolly from the Family Library was utterly thrilled to receive the cheque, and told the children that 'every penny will go towards new books and the Library Bus.' As a school we are so lucky to have the Library Bus visit us every fortnight on a Thursday, parking on the playground so that after school the children can enjoy the wonderful resource! The incredible amount was raised by our amazing children last year when they took part in a Sponsored Read, organised by the School Council, and we are truly grateful to each and every one of you for your kindness and generosity.
